Residency Special Features:   The 12-month program provides pharmacists with the knowledge, abilities, experience and critical thinking skills necessary to become a competent pharmacy practitioner.   Residents will have learning experiences in adult medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, ambulatory care,  antimicrobial stewardship, neonatal and anticoagulation services.  Piedmont Athens Regional provides an integrated practice experience with a certified ACGME Internal Medicine Residents. Residents will also help precept students from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy, eligibility for licensure in Georgia, college transcripts, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and a letter of intent.
