Residency Special Features:   A comprehensive PGY-2 program that provides an opportunity to serve as an active member of a multidisciplinary nutrition and metabolic support service with over 100 years of practice experience. The nutritional support team (NST) is comprised of two clinical pharmacists, two clinical dietitians, two nurse specialists, and two co-medical directors. Required rotations include six months of Adult Nutrition, one month of Pediatric Nutrition and 2-4 weeks of Home Care Nutrition. Elective rotation schedules are flexible and range from 2-6 weeks, based on individual interests. Possible areas of elective experience include critical care medicine (Neuro, Surg and Medical), infectious disease, hematology-oncology, thoracic, liver, renal, or bone marrow transplantation, and clinical research.
