Residency Special Features:   This program is designed to provide the resident with a solid foundation and experience in the administration of exemplary pharmacy services within a major academic medical center. Residents may elect to pursue their MBA degree from either the combined University of Baltimore/Towson University program or the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. The program objectives are:Train and prepare pharmacists to immediately assume a wide variety of management and leadership positionsPrepare to handle the financial, human resources, and political aspects of pharmacyParticipate in and/or guide teaching and research activitiesDevelop a safe and efficient medication use process, including the appropriate use of technologyEstablish a foundation to facilitate career growth in health care
