Residency Special Features:   Residents are provided comprehensive training and learning experiences focused on medication-related care of patients with wide range of conditions. Core Rotations are: internal medicine, critical care, management/research, cardiology, and antimicrobial stewardship. Elective rotations include additional time in any of the core rotations and/or possible off-site rotations within the MedStar Health System. Longitudinal rotations are in the anticoagulation clinic and management/research. Teaching opportunities include educating patients, precepting pharmacy students, and off-site teaching opportunities at local school of pharmacy.
