Residency Special Features:   The goal of the Harnett Health System residency program, in conjunction with Campbell University, is to provide a comprehensive experience in pharmacy practice that will enable the resident to become a competent and independent practitioner. The residency offers a variety of clinical settings and a significant amount of flexibility in order for the resident to focus on clinical interests and career goals. Residents will gain experience in clinical research through the completion a major project. Harnett Health is part of Campbell University College of Health Sciences residency program and will take part in residency showcases at the Campbell booth. Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD, elibile for licensure in NC and US citizen. Submit letter of intent, CV, transcript, and three letters of recommendation through PhORCAS.

Site Special Features:   The residency program is affiliated with Campbell University and the resident will complete rotations at Campbell University. Harnett Health System is a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Dunn, NC. The healthcare system has more than 200 credentialed providers. The healthcare system includes two hospitals (Betsy Johnson Hospital and Central Harnett Hospital), has 6 primary care practices and 7 outpatient centers. The healthcare system also has its own internal medicine and family medicine Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine residencies. Pharmacy residents will work with interdisciplinary rounding teams on their inpatient rotations.
