Residency Special Features:   Wake Forest Baptist Health offers a one-year PGY1 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency. The resident will have the opportunity for direct patient care services in a variety of ambulatory practice settings (anticoagulation, dyslipidemia, diabetes, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation). Elective rotations may include experiences in cardiology, infectious diseases, hematology/oncology, and solid organ transplant. Additional services include transitions of care, population health, specialty pharmacy and community pharmacy. The resident will complete a longitudinal research project and poster presentation. A teaching certification program is also available.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD degree and eligibility for NC licensure. Curriculum vitae, college transcripts for pharmacy coursework, 3 letters of reference, and a letter of intent required for application.
