Residency Special Features:   This program focuses experiences in ambulatory care settings to include internal medicine, heart failure, infectious diseases, transitions of care and hospital outpatient pharmacy. Other elective areas of experience may include geriatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology and inpatient cardiology and family/internal medicine. Residents are expected to complete a residency project and present at the Southeastern Residency Conference. Additional components include precepting students, nursing and pharmacy in-services, and optional didactic lectures.
