The USCCOP's combined PGY1-Community-Based and PGY2-Community-Based Administration & Leadership Program is offered in collaboration with Premise Health and the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center (KPIC). The program has 2 sites: the Associate Family Health Center located at the BMW plant in Greer, SC and the Center for Living Well at Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL.  

During the first year, the resident will function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary health care team by utilizing the Pharmacist Patient Care Process to deliver disease state management and medication management programs. The second year will focus on the management and evaluation of pharmacy patient care services within the clinic. The resident will receive health care related entrepreneurial and innovation training from KPIC as well as pharmacy-specific outcomes research training from faculty at the USCCOP.

The program is designed to develop a pharmacist who can provide high quality patient care, manage an innovative pharmacy practice, evaluate the impact of the patient care they provide, and advance the profession of pharmacy.  Graduates will be prepared for a high level managerial, supervisory and leadership position that is responsible for developing and managing an innovative community-based patient care practice within a health care system.
