Residency Special Features:   The PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency is designed to provide the resident with a solid background in the administration of comprehensive pharmaceutical services across an integrated health system. The goal of the residency is to develop pharmacy leaders who are trained and prepared to assume a management level position in a health system. The resident will be immediately integrated into the management team. The areas of focus of the residency year include personnel utilization/management, pharmacy operations, clinical services, medication safety, inventory management, financial stewardship, technology/informatics and strategic planning. Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. degree, completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency, eligible for Illinois licensure. Three letters of recommendation, letter of intent, college transcripts and onsite interview.

Located 4 miles from downtown Chicago, Mount Sinai Hospital is a Level I Adult and Pediatric trauma center, contains a Level III NICU & PICU, and an ED with approximately 60,000 visits annually.
