Residency Special Features:   This PGY1 program focuses on core experiences of the acute care setting, to include required rotations in Internal Medicine (x2), Critical Care (x2), Oncology and Pharmacy Operations. Required longitudinal rotations include Pharmacy Administration, Formulary Management, and the Residency Research Project. Elective rotations include Neonatal Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Ambulatory Care, Psychopharmacy, Pharmacy Informatics, and a Teaching Certification program through Cedarville University. This residency is the only program in the Dayton, Ohio region to provide training with a full-time Emergency Medicine pharmacist, NICU pharmacist, and Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacist. Residents will also play a prominent role in managing Pharm.D candidates during their clinical rotations.
