Residency Special Features:   The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at The Christ Hospital focuses on the development of a competent clinical provider with a core foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered pharmaceutical care. The Christ Hospital is a 555-bed acute care community, teaching hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The residency offers required rotational experiences in internal medicine, critical care, ambulatory care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, cardiology, drug information, administration, and pharmacy practice. Elective rotations are available in oncology, palliative care, antimicrobial stewardship, kidney transplant, academia, as well as repetition of a required rotation. A relationship with the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy allows teaching experience through a teaching certificate program. The resident will also complete a research project and present at a national/regional conference.
