Residency Special Features:   

The pharmacy practice residency is designed to provide experiences leading to focused knowledge and practice skill in the pharmacotherapeutic care of pediatric patients. Required rotations include Academia/Precepting, Antimicrobial Stewardship/Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine, General Pediatrics, NICU, PICU, Drug Information, Pharmacy Administration, and Medication Safety. Residents complete the NEOMD Teaching Certificate program, a research project, and quality improvement projects. Residents who successfully complete this program are well prepared for specialized residencies, fellowships, or other career opportunities.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

PharmD or equivalent experience and eligibility for licensure in Ohio by October 1st of the residency year.
