Residency Special Features:   

This program is conducted in outpatient and ambulatory care environments and contains elements of fundamental managed care pharmacy practice for self-insured patients at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Residents will develop into independent clinical pharmacists and build communication skills and relationships with patients. An optional teaching certificate program provides practice in small group instruction, experiential education, and didactic lectures. Rotations are offered in leadership, managed care, clinical programs, practice management, and transitions of care.
