Residency Special Features:   This ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency will provide residents a broad education in the acute care setting, gaining knowledge and experience, and developing skill in the care of patients across the continuum of ages. Core experiences include Adult Internal Medicine, General Pediatrics, Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Hospital Administration, and Ambulatory Care, as well as longitudinal experiences in Administrative activities, Research, and Service/Staffing. A variety of elective experiences are offered, e.g., emergency medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, pediatric ICU, newborn ICU, and others. A teaching certificate can be earned (longitudinal experience). Residents will provide all facets of pharmaceutical care; participate in teaching, staff development, clinical projects, protocol development, newsletter contributions, and presentation of a major project at ASHP MCM and at a regional pharmacy residency meeting.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy, eligible for Ohio licensure. Application completed through PhORCAS, including letter of intent, updated CV, academic transcript, three references on standardized PhORCAS template.
