Residency Special Features:   *NMS Code 125913 - traditional PGY1 pharmacy residency; NMS Code 125921 - non-traditional PGY1 pharmacy residency. Experience a program that will prepare you to practice independently and excel in clinical services, teaching, and research. The program will provide a structured experience with the flexibility to tailor the training program to meet your individual needs. Clinical rotations are offered in internal medicine, critical care, drug information, administration, cardiology, infectious disease, nephrology, antibiotic stewardship, and ambulatory care. Residents will complete one research project and have the opportunity to teach and attend various meetings and conferences. The University of Toledo offers both a traditional (12.5 month) and non-traditional (36 month) residency program to allow both new and practicing pharmacists advance their knowledge base and clinical skills.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   NMS 125913 Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited university and eligibility for licensure in Ohio. Application and all requested materials including academic transcripts, CV, and letters of recommendation.
