Require rotations: Critical care, pharmacy administration, emergency medicine, internal medicine, research, academia at Concordia University Wisconsin, staffing. Elective rotations: NICU/Women's health, pharmacy informatics, oncology, medication safety, critical care II, ambulatory care, health-system pharmacy administration. Residents must become ACLS certified. Residents will assist in training IPPE and APPE pharmacy students.

Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee Hospital Milwaukee (CSMM) is a community teaching hospital located in Milwaukee just north of downtown. The Lake Drive Campus is made up of two hospitals, the Main Hospital and Women's Medical Center, and two large clinics, Prospect Medical Commons and Water Tower Medical Commons. Average daily inpatient census is approximately 225 patients.

CSMM offers advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgery services, a regional burn center, women's health services, a neonatal intensive care unit, 48 adult intensive care unit beds, 130 medical/surgical beds. an inpatient behavioral health unit, and a 45-bed emergency department. Additionally, an outpatient chemotherapy infusion center is part of the campus. CSMM serves as the tertiary care referral center for seven southeastern Wisconsin Ascension hospitals. As a result, the area's most complex medical and surgical cases come to CSMM for care.

Ascension Columbia St. Mary's aims to develop residents into capable pharmacy clinicians who are prepared to enter an advanced acute care practice environment.
