Residency Special Features:   *NMS Code 154313 - PGY1 pharmacy residency with an ambulatory care focus; NMS Code 154321 - PGY1 pharmacy residency with a focus in acute care. The Marshfield Clinic pharmacy system consists of a Clinical Pharmacy Services department, Outpatient dispensing pharmacies, Sterile Product areas (parenteral admixtures), Inpatient Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Purchasing and Supply Chain, an Investigational Drug Program, Medication Safety Coordination and Informatics Integration. Unique research opportunities exist at Marshfield Clinic in collaboration with nationally recognized leaders in pharmacogenomics and clinical informatics as well as many other areas.
Available rotations include bariatric surgery, cardiology, community pharmacy, dermatology, drug information, internal medicine,neurology, outpatient oncology/hematology, informatics, pharmacy purchasing and supply chain management, safety, inpatient pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy. Longitudinal Experiences: Research, Service, Management, Committee involvement, Journal Clubs, and Marshfield Clinic Medical Education Day participation. Marshfield Clinic has a dedicated resident research facilitator to aid medical and pharmacy residents in development of their longitudinal research projects.
