Residency Special Features:   

East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) offers a PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency program in affiliation with the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. The program provides residents opportunities to develop patient care, communication, problem-solving, administrative, leadership and clinical research abilities as a developing pharmacotherapy specialist within a structured learning environment. Residents provide all aspects of pharmacy services within hospital and ambulatory care settings. Residents participate in teaching experiences, manuscript preparation and present research at the regional and national level.
