Residency Special Features:   Baptist Health Corbin offers a variety of well-rounded learning experiences in the areas of Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care Clinics, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Transitions of Care, and Administration. Longitudinal experiences include Project Management, Teaching, and Hospital Pharmacy Practice. Resident activities include participation in the Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Medication Safety committees. Regular topic discussions will reinforce clinical experiential learning. Emphasis is placed on life balance and individualized experiences. Residents will be required to complete a longitudinal research project with results presented at a regional residency conference. Precepting of PY4 students is encouraged, and residents will also take part in a Teaching Certificate Program.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Applicants must be US Citizens, have PharmD degree, and be eligible for KY Pharmacist Licensure. The application process will be online via PhORCAS and will include verified transcripts, letter of intent, CV, and references.

The department utilizes central distribution with decentralized clinical services on first. BHC hosts learning experiences for students from multiple colleges of pharmacy.
