Residency Special Features:   This critical care residency offers a variety of opportunities in both medical and surgical critical care. A broad experience in numerous aspects of critical care includes trauma, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery/heart & lung transplant, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, and emergency medicine. This blend of rotations provides a balanced exposure to both medical and surgical care. The preceptor for each area is a pharmacy faculty critical care specialist. While the program focuses on enhancing clinical skills, residents are encouraged to develop communication and writing skills by teaching Pharm.D. students and lecturing in many other settings.
