Residency Special Features:   The pharmacy practice residency offers a broad experience in a wide array of practice areas including internal medicine, ambulatory care, critical care, nutrition support, pediatrics, infectious diseases, oncology, and cardiology. In addition to a major residency project residents will present formal lectures, inservices, and journal clubs. The resident will serve as a preceptor for experiential rotations. Our mission is to prepare clinicians for community based hospital practice.

It is located one hour from Memphis and two hours from Nashville and is the only tertiary care facility in the region. JMCGH services 18 counties in West Tennessee and is home to the busiest emergency department in Tennessee seeing over 80,000 people each year. Services include: a children’s medical center, cancer center, rehabilitation center, women’s center, emergency services, and heart center.
