Residency Special Features:   

The BRMC PGY1 pharmacy residency program is designed to prepare pharmacists for advanced patient centered pharmaceutical care in a community-based teaching hospital. The residency experience may include rotations in internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, trauma, ambulatory care, drug information, medication safety, and additional rotations. The resident will complete a composite pharmacy related project and develop strong presentation and leadership skills. The residents will have the option of completing a longitudinal teaching certificate program through East Tennessee State University.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Pharm.D. degree, eligibility for Tennessee and Virginia licensure, PhORCAS application includes: academic transcript, letter of intent, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
