Residency Special Features:   

The pharmacy practice residency gives in-depth experience in a broad area of pharmacy practiceincluding internal medicine, orthopedics, antibiotic stewardship and pharmacokinetics, warfarin management, discharge counseling, medication reconciliation, cardiology and critical care, geriatrics, psyche, nutritional support, retail, and other opportunities based on resident’s interests. Residents design/publish a departmental newsletter, prepare a major project, and help with pharmacy students during rotations.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. or equivalent experience and eligibility for licensure in Tennessee; licensing must be   completed within 90 days of hire.
