Program provides residents with opportunities to participate in a variety of learning experiences including anticoagulation, nutrition, critical care, internal medicine, oncology, drug information, infectious disease, and practice management. Residents focus on written and verbal communication skills by participation in education initiatives including seminars and journal clubs. Saint Thomas Hospital Pharmacy is accredited by ACPE as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The program is structured according the ASHP's Resident Learning System and maintains flexibility to allow individualization.
