In-depth experience in internal medicine, critical care, nutrition therapy, oncology, anticoagulation, practice management, informatics, medication safety, cardiology, drug information, pharmacokinetics, infectious diseases, palliative and hospice care, and outpatient ambulatory care. Teaching opportunities include inpatient and outpatient settings. Preceptors are affiliated with the University of Tennessee and Samford University. Communication skills are sharpened with multiple medication use evaluations, journal clubs, and formal lectures. We develop outstanding clinical practitioners with strong leadership skills.
