Residency Special Features:   This pharmacy practice residency emphasizes the practice of pharmaceutical care across the continuum of care within an integrated health care delivery network. The program is designed to meet the individualized personal and professional goals of the resident. The residency experience includes acute care (critical care, cardiology, infectious disease, internal medicine), family medicine clinic, community pharmacy, home care, long-term care, medication-use management, administration, and elective time for areas of interest to the resident. The resident provides education to and interacts with patients, students, medical residents, and other members of the health care team.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. preferred. Eligible for licensure in Iowa, curriculum vitae, college transcripts, three letters of reference, and personal letter of application.
