Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center designed to develop a proficient, independent practitioner capable of providing advanced pharmaceutical care in emergency medicine. As a resident, you will obtain advanced training in all areas of emergency medicine, including critical care, toxicology and emergency preparedness. Adult and pediatric training experiences of nearly every type are available. Additional requirements include completion of a research and quality improvement project, staffing, medical emergency response, and formal presentations.

Fringe Benefits:   

15 days of paid leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance, and dedicated research funds. Relocation assistance ($500) available.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completion of an accredited PGY1 residency, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 standardized reference forms completed by references of your choosing.
