Residency Special Features:   The University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital provides a broad spectrum of critical care, including adult medicine, surgical, and cardiovascular ICU services to PICU and NICU. The resident is an integral part of the health care team. The resident will provide pharmaceutical care in an integrated, team-based pharmacy model. Skills include order verification, PK/TPN monitoring, provision of drug information, literature searches/review, participation in rounds, co-precepting APPE students/PGY1 residents, provision of professional education, and project management.
Fringe Benefits:   The resident receives the same benefits/PTO as a first-year, non-contract pharmacist. The resident will receive a travel stipend to attend ASHP and/or a specialty conference.
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD degree, eligible for MN pharmacist license, and completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency program
