Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency designed to develop a proficient, independent practitioner capable of providing advanced pharmaceutical care to oncology patients. You will work closely with preceptors, highly qualified pharmacists, oncology physicians, and other health care professionals. Required experiences include acute care rotations in bone marrow transplantation, hematology, and medical oncology in addition to ambulatory care rotations in bone marrow transplantation, hematology and outpatient cancer therapy infusion center. Elective rotations are tailored to your needs. Additional requirements include completion of a research certificate and quality improvement project, staffing, formal presentations, and participation in a structure education program to prepare graduates for successful achievement as a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completion of an accredited PGY1 residency, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 standardized reference forms completed by references of your choosing.
