Residency Special Features:   Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency designed for practitioners who desire a broad acute care pharmacotherapy experience at the nation's top hospital. Residents are afforded patient care opportunities in nearly every specialty area, educate self and others, and incorporate evidence-based medicine into daily activities. Additional requirements include completion of a research certificate and project, a teaching/learning certificate, a quality improvement project, staffing, medical emergency response, and formal presentations.
Fringe Benefits:   15 days of paid leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance, and dedicated research funds. Relocation assistance ($500) available.
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. from an accredited (or in the process of pursuing) college of pharmacy. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 standardized reference forms completed by references of your choosing.
