Residency Special Features:   DePaul Hospital serves patients across the St. Louis metropolitan area with a level II trauma center, focus in neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and psychiatric care. Pharmacists at DePaul practice throughout the hospital including ER, OR, all acute inpatient areas, three satellite infusion centers, and two outpatient clinics. Residents have the opportunity to receive ACLS, Anticoagulation Certification, and a teaching certificate. Electives can be customized to the resident's interests and needs.

Site Special Features:   DePaul Hospital is a part of SSM Health which operates five PGY-1 sites at hospitals in St. Louis. DePaul serves north St. Louis county as a level-two trauma center with over 70,000 ER visits per year. DePaul has 125 psychiatric beds including adults, adolescents, and pediatrics. The pharmacy department provides 24-hour centralized services and is supplemented by regular decentralized clinical services. Pharmacy services include therapeutic drug dosing and monitoring, multi-disciplinary rounding, patient education and quality improvement activities such as LEAN.
