Residency Special Features:   This residency’s purpose is to assist in accelerating the development of clinical knowledge, skills, and confidence to ensure success in providing quality health care to a broad range of patients.Learning experiences include Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Geriatrics/Oncology, Informatics, Infectious Diseases, and Practice Management. The resident will present formal lectures, serve regularly at a charitable clinic, and prepare a research project. The resident will serve as preceptor for pharmacy clerkship students during some rotations, as well as complete a teaching certificate program.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Applications will only be acceptedthrough the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service, PhORCAS. The resident must graduate from an ACPE-accreditedcollege of pharmacy, and be eligible for Arkansas licensure by July 31st. Application materials should include academic transcript, curriculum vitae, letters of intent and three references from prior employers and educators.An on-site interviewis required for program candidates. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a required employee physical, drug/nicotine screen, and background check.
