Residency Special Features:   

Located in downtown New Orleans, which boasts the development of a very progressive health services district (LSU—Tulane—VA). The district contains a cutting-edge bio-innovation complex. This JCAHO-accredited hospital contains a level 1 trauma center. Rotation offerings include: inpatient care, critical care, internal medicine, HIV/AIDS, anticoagulation, hematology/oncology, ambulatory care, antibiotic stewardship, trauma, practice management, and healthcare research. The resident will gain knowledge in teaching and speaking throughout the year-long program. The pharmacy is a main site for the teaching of pharmacy students from several Universities. Project opportunities in many areas are available.
