Residency Special Features:   The required experiences include adult internal medicine, ambulatory care, infectious diseases, pediatrics, pharmacy administration, research, critical care (i.e. pediatric ICU, adult medical ICU, adult trauma ICU) and institutional pharmacy practice. In addition, all residents complete a structured teaching methodology course and are required to function as pharmacy educators in a variety of settings. Elective options include, but are not limited to, cardiology, solid organ transplant, HIV clinic, intensive care (i.e., pediatric, neonatal, and adult ICU's), infectious diseases, and oncology. Residents function as clinical pharmacists at OU Medical Center and affiliated OU Physicians practice sites on campus.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PhORCAS application process is used for this residency. Successful applicants will have a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy and be eligible for licensure in the state of Oklahoma. If invited after initial applicant screening, an on-site interview in Oklahoma City, OK will be required.
