Residency Special Features:   BUMC is a level 1 trauma center with 6 adult ICUs, a level 3 neonatal ICU, multiple transplant programs, and a high volume ED. Opportunities for offsite rotations include Toxicology (UT Southwestern). The resident will gain extensive experience in infectious diseases, pharmacokinetics and interacting in an interdisciplinary environment. The resident will provide formal presentations, inservices and complete a major research project. The resident will also have the opportunity to precept pharmacy students and PGY1 residents.
