Residency Special Features:   All aspects of infusion pharmacy. Learning experiences in interdisciplinary care coordination, patient assessment, infusion device management, care planning, therapy monitoring, medication reconciliation, patient and caregiver education, aseptic compounding, inventory management, supervising technicians, and quality assurance. Clinical practice in infusion therapies, including parenteral nutrition, anti-infectives, inotropics, clotting factors, immune globulins, and other injectable therapies. Drug information and all corporate support activities. Site-specific and nationally focused projects. Presentations and attendance at regional and national professional meetings.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PhORCAS application. Eligible un-sponsored work in USA, PharmD, Texas licensure within 90 days. Onsite interview. Home infusion APPE preferred.
Training Site Type: Full service home infusion provider. Practice emphasis on interdisciplinary specialty infusion care to home and ambulatory adult and pediatric patients.
