Residency Special Features:   This pharmacy residency program will expose the resident to a wide variety of clinical experiences within a managed care organization. Resident activities include development of a research project, providing drug information to the health care team, participating in medication therapy management, involvement with complete health team rounds, participating in an academic clerkship, providing ambulatory care services within HealthSpring's LivingWell clinics, and participation in quality initiatives to improve health outcomes. In addition, the resident will play a role in precepting pharmacy interns and will have the opportunity to participate in a teaching certificate program through a college of pharmacy.
