Residency Special Features:   NMS Code 217013 - traditional 12-month PGY1 residency. The residency program at Texas Children's Hospital will train pharmacists to serve as authoritative resources in the application, use, research, and optimization of medications in pediatric patients. The preceptors practice in areas such as Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Solid Organ Transplant, Hematology / Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, and Cardiology. Multiple opportunities for elective rotations and longitudinal experiences are available.
