Residency Special Features:   

The Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center PGY1 provides a challenging and well-rounded training environment, a focus on inpatient acute care in a community hospital setting. Teaching certificate programs are offered through University of Houston College of Pharmacy. Required rotations include: Internal Medicine, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Integrated Clinical Pharmacist I and II, Pharmacy Administration, Project, Nutrition Support (longitudinal), and Pediatrics/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Electives include but care not limited to: repeat of any required rotation, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, Ambulatory Care, Cardiology.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Pharm.D. or equivalent experience and eligibility for licensure in Texas, three letters of recommendation, academic transcript, curriculum vitae and personal statement.
