Residency Special Features:   * NMS Code 187313 - described below; NMS Code 187321 - pediatric focused. This pharmacy residency provides in-depth experience in a broad area of pharmacy practice including internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, pediatrics, ambulatory care and administration. Training is tailored to the resident's background and special interests. Other activities include, journal club, patient case conferences, formal and informal lectures, MUE activities. The resident is a preceptor for pharmacy clerkship students and is involved in teaching activities through the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.
