Residency Special Features:   

The PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases is designed for selected, highly motivated, and qualified pharmacists to advance their skills in infectious disease pharmacotherapy. Various practice areas include adult infectious diseases, pediatric infectious diseases, microbiology laboratory, critical care, solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, oncology, emergency medicine, antimicrobial stewardship, and ambulatory ID/HIV clinics. The program also provides the resident opportunities to learn and develop teaching and research techniques.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Pharm.D. from ACPE accredited college, prior ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency before beginning this infectious diseases specialty residency, curriculum vitae, eligibility for Arizona licensure, pharmacy school transcripts, and three letters of recommendation. Application submissions are to be completed in PhORCAS.
