Residency Special Features:   Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona offers a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency designed for pharmacists who desire a broad acute care pharmacotherapy experience at one of the nation's top hospitals. Pharmacy Residents are afforded patient care opportunities in many different specialty areas.

Rotations offered include but not limited to internal medicine, oncology, solid organ transplant, infectious diseases and critical care with additional opportunities for elective rotations including such specialties as bone marrow transplant. Some requirements of the residency include completion of a research project, a teaching certificate, a quality improvement project, medication use evaluations, inpatient staffing, medical emergency response and formal presentations.
Fringe Benefits:   15 total days of paid time off (PTO), up to 10 funded professional leave days, medical/dental/life insurance.
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy, eligible for AZ pharmacist licensure and US citizenship or permanent residency required.
