Residency Special Features:   The purpose of the North Colorado PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is to prepare clinical pharmacists for acute and ambulatory care positions, adjunct faculty positions or to pursue PGY2 training in a focused area of practice. Required learning experiences include orientation, practice management, general medicine, ambulatory care, critical care and oncology. Common electives may include infectious disease, cardiology, pediatrics, medication safety. Residents also participate in the Colorado Pharmacy Residency Teaching Certificate Program.
