The PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency program at Denver Health Medical Center is designed to provide a structured learning environment and to foster an in-depth learning opportunity for a resident to develop into a successful clinical pharmacy specialist. Experiences during the residency year will include Emergency Medicine, Medical and Surgical ICU, Toxicology, pediatric emergency medicine, Pediatric ICU, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Infectious Diseases/Public Health, and ambulatory care/Urgent Care medicine.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Applicants must have received a PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completed or in progress of completing an ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and be eligible for licensure in Colorado. Required application materials include: Letter of Intent, Curriculum Vitae, Official Pharmacy school transcripts, Three references.
