Residency Special Features:   The goal of this residency is to produce pharmacy practitioners who are able to assume leadership roles upon graduation. The residency has a clinical focus, but the resident will come away with an extensive health-system knowledge base. Participation in the development of medication use policy is longitudinal throughout the residency year. Residents must complete a major research project as a requirement for completion of the residency.

Site Special Features:   Saint Joseph Hospital (SJH) is a community teaching hospital. SJH trains approximately 100 medical residents in internal medicine, surgery, family practice and OB/GYN. Medication distribution is computerized and highly automated. SJH maintains a strong relationship with Kaiser Permanente and National Jewish Health. The hospital trains up to 20 students per year.
