Residency Special Features:   Residents gain experience in acute care, ambulatory care, and pharmacy administration in a university-affiliated VA medical center. Required experiences include acute care, ambulatory care, formulary management, practice management, geriatrics, medical emergency management, and staffing. Ambulatory clinics include anticoagulation, chronic disease management, HIV, hepatitis C, mental health, and pain management. Three elective experiences may include: critical care, cardiology, surgery, geriatrics, infectious diseases, neurology, oncology, pain management, psychiatry, & academia. Residents present one ACPE accredited presentation and complete a research project.
