Saint Alphonsus offers a diverse residency experience with both inpatient and outpatient opportunities. Inpatient opportunities include trauma/critical care, cardiology/cardiovascular surgery, medicine, inpatient oncology, surgery, antimicrobial stewardship, neonatology, and emergency medicine. Outpatient opportunities include medication therapy management in a variety of disease states including oncology, geriatrics, palliative care and patients at high risk of readmission. Residents will actively participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, as well as be involved in medication use policy development. Residents will gain experience in precepting PharmD student, didactic lecturing, small case discussion and obtain a teaching certificate as part of the program.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy, academic transcript, curriculum vitae, letter of intent, three letters of recommendation, licensed or eligible for licensure in Idaho.
