Residency Special Features:   The residency is a one-year post-graduate training program designed to develop leadership skills. The program provides training and experience in various areas of clinical practice, research and teaching. The program is designed to provide a broad range of experiences while meeting the interests and needs of each resident. The residency experience is situated in an academic medical center and the program is closely affiliated with the UNM College of Pharmacy.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Doctor of Pharmacy degree from accredited College of Pharmacy, eligible for license to practice pharmacy in New Mexico, letter of intent specific to the UNMH program, CV, academic transcripts, and 3 recommendations from healthcare professionals who can attest to your practice abilities.
