Residency Special Features:   

The Sheridan VA PGY1 Pharmacy Residency will train pharmacists in the setting of a rural VA health care system. This unique program offers broad involvement in ambulatory care and mental health. Residents gain experience in providing disease state management in well-established Pharmacotherapy and Behavior Health Clinics. Disease states include: anticoagulation, hypertension, diabetes, pain management, depression, PTSD, anxiety, and geriatrics in our nursing home. Residents will also have opportunities to provide unique pharmacy services to both inpatient and outpatient mental health patients.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Pharm.D.(accredited college of pharmacy), US citizenship, letter of intent, CV, academic transcript(s), three letters of recommendation, and Pharmacy licensure in any state.
