Site Special Features:   Our program allows the resident to become familiar with pharmacy services in a large, non-profit, health maintenance organization. Our program has affiliations with the following Schools of Pharmacy: University of Southern California, University of California at San Francisco and Western University of Health Sciences. Each resident’s calendar is individually tailored to meet the needs of the resident, ASHP objectives and rotation objectives. The majority of our rotations are Monday thru Friday; on occasion, weekend scheduling may occur. The resident will participate in medication therapy management – initiating, monitoring and follow-up of patient outcome. Upon licensure, residents will take a more ACTIVE part in patient care management and outcome – including prescribing authority
